Well, I’ve got snubbed by some service staff yesterday. Here’s the story:
So I’m supposed to get a cake for my colleague’s birthday. And thus went to some bakery at Suntec to get it. Saw the staff behind the cash register and her back was facing me. The natural thing to do was to get her attention right? And so I went “Hellllooooo? Excuuuuuuuuuuseee meeee.” She didn’t seem to hear me and so I tried again…
*clears throat*
*using a louder voice*
“HELLO. Excuse meeeee!”
She then kept doing her stuff and took her time to turn around, using about 10 seconds.
And guess what when she turned around? I’m practically invisible to her and she asked the Caucasian couple beside me “How can I help you?”
WHOA!!!!
Now I know why people are so pissed about this particular attitude of service staff. Well, I just stood there and waited for her to finish. It’s extra time off from work anyway.
Oh well, unhappy stuff aside. Pictures time!
The view from my window.
Hah, I wish. This is actually the view from the R&R corner, which is quite nice as well.
And work can be a little boring sometimes, but luckily, I have a friend who manages to entertain me. Believe me, he’s quite athletic.
He’s so courteous on our first meeting.
He knows tai ji…
…taekwondo…
…karate…
…flying kicks…
…and even splits!
He even survived through the Three Kingdom periods (as can be seen from that big black “banner”) to tell his stories!
And one more thing… No matter what he do, he just never seem to be tired or close his eyes.
Kinda like how Citi Never Sleeps, turning dreams into reality huh?
Okay okay, I’m stopping here now. Time to practise some information security.
And no, this is not an advertisement for Citi.
