Common test

Posted in Gibberish on May 31, 2008 by Shannon

Had IEF paper today. It did seem kind of easy as promised, but I don’t know how many hidden traps are there that I have fell for.

Hell, it’s over.

And this paper appears to be the most stressful of all, so now after this paper I totally have no mood to study. What’s worse, it seems like common test is over with today being a Saturday and I won’t be having papers for the next two days.

how how how how how?

HAHA.

What has been going on

Alright, been really busy this past week. So busy that I fell sick. But then, it was all worth it for the Batam trip.

So on Sunday, a bunch of us set of to Batam. Batam is not that bad a place, really. At least from what I’ve seen. Although it was known for some *ahem* there, but then the places that I’ve been too is still fairly “clean”.

It was really good hospitality shown by the ex-students over there. Imagine: free lodging at THEIR apartments, free food at THEIR restaurants, shopping at THEIR shopping centre, free drinks at THEIR pub and karaoke bar and tour at THEIR charcoal factory.

The brothers are really enterprising and generous to provide this opportunity for about the 60 of us. I guess it may be a long long time before I get this kind of treatment again.

We were supposed to be back in Singapore by Monday evening but something cropped up and had to board the ferry back on Tuesday morning. That was really an experience as well. Rushing to school right after we cleared immigration. Really cool.

All of these at a cheap 26 bucks per bottle.

On to other things…

FMGT project was due on Friday, and I guess it was kind of a record that I’ve broke for myself. Finishing a project within two and a half days.

SCO interview was on Thursday. Everything seems to have gone well. All I can do now is to hope for the best. :)

Cute huh. It’s supposed to be a crab. Cute right cute right. Sushi, crab sticks, 6 prawns and pasta. HAHA.

Saturday morning and I’m in school with two nehnehs. Supposed to be studying but they are turning playing music and singing along. STUDY LA!

Fooooood again.

It’s madness.

Went to Adam Rd again yesterday for dinner, partly to celebrate Arthur’s birthday. Had prawn noodles for like the third time in a row and it still rocks. Luckily I stuck to my choice of prawn noodles and not Hokkien Mee. HAHA. And we had oyster omelette which had no oysters in it! Or I should say we had oyster omelette with oysters but of which was finished by one person! Stupid chao nehneh.

Nasi Lemak was not that bad actually, but still, it couldn’t be spared with countless criticisms from that picky eater.

Well, dinner at Adam Rd is not complete without ice cream at Island Creamery!

Nutella is still the best there. Had single scoop this time cos ate a lot already. However, ended up eating a lot more ice cream cos there was baked Alaska and Mudpie for all to share! How nice! And then we learnt what was caramelisation from the food critic.

We had two slices Mudpies, of which one was used as a ‘cake’ which we shared.

We were supposed to look retarded, but some people pangseh ah.

And after so many times there, finally took a picture for the wall. Remember to look out for it the next time you are there!

Two more jokers joined us after their dragonboat training and they bought a TUB of Nutella ice cream. Crazy.

Hmm. Sorry for the lack of pictures. Many of them are deemed unappropriate to be posted here. Haha.

No school today! But so what. Still had to wake up quite early to complete the assignment online.

Even so, managed to finish it before 1 and it was so borrrrrrrrring to stay at home doing nothing. Luckily I’ve made an appointment with my secret friend to go have ice cream today!

Welcome to udders!
