Whoo, part two!
Posted in Gibberish on March 27, 2008 by ShannonTons of fun
Posted in Gibberish on March 24, 2008 by ShannonWe bought a 100-pack balloon for the chalet, kept about 20 of them, others blew about 10 of them, and the remaining were blown by me. Good lungs.

And the first day of the chalet was really budget. Instant noodles for dinner and cheese with ham and sausage for breakfast the next day. Doesn’t sound really wrong right? But if you add in Fairprice cheese, Fairprice picnic ham (which was really the cheapest of the bunch, honey baked ham is still the best!), Fairprice bread and some sausage which costs like 15 cents each. You see, you people don’t get to go through the “behind-the-scene” experience (which wasn’t really very great) and just jump to the good stuff. How lucky. So please appreciate.

It’s one week short to one month
Posted in Gibberish on March 19, 2008 by ShannonHe escaped on the 27th of February; it’s 19th of March today.
Mas Selamat Kastari has been on the run for three weeks now. Heck, he even has his own Wikipedia page.
So looking at the mugshots, I can’t help but notice how uncannily similar they are. Okay, I know they are the same person, but take a look at the photo below.
Look at the parts that are circled. Curls of hair at exactly the same place that don’t drift around??? Either the picture is photoshopped or he’s using some super-strength gel.
On the lighter side of things…

Guide to timetable selection
Posted in Gibberish on March 18, 2008 by ShannonBefore the start of every semester, the school will invite you to a game (or two) of “Fastest Fingers First” whereby you select your timetable for the semester on a first-come, first-served basis. And many a times, I hear my friends grumbling and complaining when they don’t get their choice of timetable.
So today, I’ve decided to come up with a guide for the super-kiasu to increase your chances of getting into the class you want next semester.
YiP
Posted in Gibberish on March 16, 2008 by ShannonYiP. That stands for Young Investors Pack.
It was the event that I woke up at 6 15 on a Saturday morning for. And I found out today that NTU is really really really far from my house. It takes around 1 hour BY CAR to reach there on a Saturday. Imagine what it would be like on weekdays.
We walked away with some knowledge about investing in the end. I’m pretty sure I did. And the Young Investors Pocketbook – it did contain all the answers that I was looking for about investing.
The magazines that were distributed in the goodie bag is worth about 30 dollars. Haha.
Anyway, it was fun running around CBD area playing a game like Amazing Race. And the view from the 50th storey of OCBC Building is totally worth it.
